Meet Our Team

At Brighton Osteopathy, we are proud to have a team of highly qualified and experienced osteopaths serving Brighton, Elwood, Elsternwick, Hampton, Bentleigh, and Sandringham. Each of our osteopaths has completed extensive training at Victoria University in Melbourne, ensuring a strong knowledge base in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and injury management. Our team is committed to providing the highest level of care and helping patients achieve their best health outcomes.

Jonathan Cannizzaro

BHSc., BAppSc. (Osteo)

Jonathan is a fully qualified Osteopath graduating from RMIT with a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Osteopathy.

Jonathan has a keen interest in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions including neck pain & headaches, lower back pain & sciatica, shoulder & knee pain.

He has a passion for sports injuries, having previously worked as an Osteopath for the South Melbourne Soccer Club, treating a wide range of sports-related injuries.

Jonathan uses a range of Osteopathic techniques including deep soft tissue massage and stretching and spinal joint mobilisation and manipulation.

He is focused on the importance of listening to each patient’s individual needs, developing a personalised rehab program if required and working with them to improve their overall health & wellbeing.

Jayde McGlead

BSc., MHSc. (Osteo)

Jayde is a fully qualified Osteopath, graduating from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Health Science majoring in Osteopathy. She is interested in empowering each patient to achieve their best physical health by using a whole body approach to optimise individuals’ health and wellbeing.

Jayde has gained experience in treating many conditions including neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain & sciatica, sporting injuries, along with hip, knee & ankle joint pain. She uses hands-on Osteopathic techniques such as deep soft tissue massage & stretching, joint mobilisation and manipulation, in conjunction with rehabilitation exercises tailored to her patient’s needs.

Jayde also has a background of playing various sports, including netball and basketball at highly competitive levels. She is currently coaching a senior netball team, which she is thoroughly passionate about.
